Fernanda and Zachary’s Bella Collina Wedding come true!
Before Fernanda (above) set foot down her aisle, was a plan for a Bella Collina wedding that would be unlike the rest. Perfect touches and elements of surprise and beauty. An Affair to Remember was honored to have Fernanda as a client and now friend.
Ines Di Santo is the designer that Fernanda fell in love with when she visited Solutions Bridal with her Mother. It was the absolute perfect dream dress with the all over lace. The added belt was truly one of a kind… we loved it so much you will see it later as an accent piece!
The first “touch” a big NEW trend!
(Above) Guests were greeted with programs and bubbles were set out for THE kiss! Seen here is Bella Collina furniture. (Below) Designer, Kristen Johnson, wanted to make the ceremony in the Bella Collina Atrium one that would sparkle and be just a bit different. Lee Forrest Designs was able to take Kristen’s vision and really bring it to life. Utilizing the existing chandelier and adding a floral cluster and dripping crystals brought everyone’s attention to the ceremony. It was the perfect addition!
The Happy Mr. & Mrs!
The Groom is from THE Ohio State University and wanted to have OSU everywhere. Well, the bride… didn’t like that idea. Instead we had OSU love present and in the perfect ways! Below you will see the guys in their OSU socks!
The cake was a stunner! The Sugar Suite created this cake to mimic the lace on the bride’s dress and JUST LOOK at this belt that is absolutely identical to the bride’s belt on her dress. One of our personal favorite touches.
See anyone familiar? If you know of Brutus (Ohio State University’s mascot) you can see him here (above) on the bottom back tier of the cake and (below) up close!
This outdoor tented Bella Collina Wedding was perfection. The romantic soft colors, reflective surfaces and dark woods really brought our the sheer elegance of Fernanda and Zachary’s wedding. Amazing florals by Lee Forrest Designs and designed by Kristen Johnson of An Affair to Remember.
(Above) The bride and Groom’s chairs were just like the rest until An Affair to Remember used vintage lace runners and weaved them into the chairs and then adding the perfect Mr and Mrs signs from the bride. It was adorable. (Below) The bride loved the idea of vintage looking glass to use for her signage. Designer Kristen Johnson of An Affair to Remember found just the right pieces and was able to transform them by writing all of the information onto them. They were a crowd favorite.
Kaleidoscope did a great job lighting up this clear span tent by Orlando Wedding and Party Rentals. The bride’s favorite things (she says everything was) was the Chandelier and the seamless white wrapped dance floor– completing the design.
Before guests left they were greeted by a table in the atrium (we flipped the ceremony space) with the Bride’s side Brazilian tradition. The words Bem Casado can be best translated as Happily Married. These are petite sponge cakes that have a sweet filling and then wrapped in crepe paper and given out individually to guests as a favor.
Jay Edwards had the crowd on the floor the entire night! Everyone said this was an AMAZING party!
Our favorite photo from the night. The Bride and her groom (with THAT ring!) looking so joyful in the midst of their dancing crowd. Like it is just the two of them and nothing else.
The perfect rose petal send off into their future of husband and wife!!!
